At least a dozen Marine/Marauder/Medic will do. While you're destroying the second Data Core, the Zerg will be launching attacks against your main base, so you'll want to keep a fair number of units at home for defense. Send with the group either Wraith or Vikings for air defense. Try dropping Siege Tanks with SCV support under the cliff just east of the building. If you don't care about rescuing Moebius, you can sneak by most Zerg units and defense by flying to the top right corner and then to the second Data Core. After they're all dead, destroy the Data Core. Destroy them as soon as you see them to save you a lot of trouble. ![]() As you damage the building, Nydus Worms will pop up around you, and try to bring in Zerg reinforcements. ![]() Lift your forces up to join them, and launch an attack on the lightly defended Zerg base. If you explore a bit more around the area, the other Moebius survivor group will be revealed to you. You'll want to start by landing all your units on the high ground of the first Moebius survivor group, and sniping all Zerg units that you can see. However, there are two groups of Moebius survivors on the way to the building, which can supplement your forces. The second Data Core is farther away, and has a Zerg base located next to it. If you're pressed for time, move down the ramp with your Marine/Medic/Marauder army, destroy the Spine Crawlers, and ferry more troops over to kill the building. You can move out early with a Medivac, dodge the Corruptor that's patrolling, and rescue the units on the high ground once they're revealed to you so they can start killing units in the area and start killing the building. However, this mission is still easily doable with just Medivacs.Īs you start out, start gathering resources and start building up your forces. Also, if you've researched the Hercules transport unit, those will help you on this mission, as you'll have to transport your army around quite a bit. Despite having Medivacs, you do want to build Medics as they heal faster if you bought the Armory upgrade, plus they're cheaper and aren't as vulnerable as Medivacs are. Your primary unit composition should again be Marine/Medic/Marauder, and a few Goliaths to pick off air units at a distance. Don't freak out about it though, since you get 4 War Pigs, 4 Marines, and 2 Medivacs soon after the mission starts. You start in the 3 o'clock position of the map, with a small base and no units. ![]() You can build the Medivac starting from this mission.
